Almost...

We're so close to being finished with this month long project. Actually, as Stan pointed out...it's only been 4 hard weekends (with a couple of Thursdays and Fridays thrown in to the mix). I don't think it would have been so "hard" had we not had RECORD heat here in Houston this month. We've been under a heat advisory for the past 7-8 days which means it's registering a feels like temperature of at least 109. The humidity in the afternoon isn't so bad, but the mornings can be pretty thick. We haven't had but a trace of rain all of June...the golf courses are brown! We're so used to rain and a tropical environment that many of our plants are wilting even with the sprinkler system. Our pool isn't all that refreshing...the water is getting a little too warm! Needless to say, after working on "the project" for 5 minutes, just being wet with something other than sweat feels good. Since I took these pictures, I've finished painting. With a flashlight in hand, I wrapped it all up a little after nine. I'll take some better pics tomorrow. Til then...
